Have you ever found a fossil and wondered what it was? Was it a dinosaur? This spring break, we’re going to get a closer look at the animals that left these fossils behind. Yes, we are going to learn about DINOSAURS…and the other prehistoric animals that lived alongside them!
This camp is adapted from our Paleo Rocks course we teach for middle school students and is designed specifically for early and late elementary ages. During the camp, we will learn how to dig up and identify fossils. We will uncover the life of dinosaurs - how they searched for food, how they ate, how they looked, even figure out where they lived based on what’s inside their poo. We’ll also learn what makes Kansas fossils unique, and why that fossil you found in your yard looks so different from a dinosaur fossil.
For elementary school age learners.
Camp runs from March 14th - March 18t with optional days March 11th and 21st. Drop-off for camps are from 8:00-8:20 (drop off) to 3:30-4:00 (pick-up).
Cost is $200 for members and $250 for non members (Members, please log in to your account and use the discount code previously emailed to you)
