Calling all future paleontologists! Hit the MAP this summer for some fossil hunting fun! Participate in our annual paleontology camp to experience for hands-on discovery about the history of life. Ever wonder if there are fossils in your yard?...Why a rock is not a gem?...What came first, the chicken or the egg? Here’s your chance to explore the world like never before and find answers to these burning questions and so much more! Dig into natural history through authentic, hands-on exploration of fossils, rocks, gems, and more in our hands-on Sci-Fun Camp. Students will make fossil patties, casts and molds, hunt and dig for real fossils around the museum, observe and make dinosaur teeth, make dinosaur tracks and make "modern dinosaurs" with clay! - and we're even making dinosaur coprolites... fossilized poo!
For ages 6-13 years old
Camp runs from June 1st to June 5th. Drop-off for camps are from 8:00-8:20 (drop off) to 3:30-4:00 (pick-up).
