SciFun Camp: Young Eco Engineers (K-2nd) (Day 1 of 5)

One of the greatest achievements in human civilization is understanding how to map out and build entire cities.  Over half of the population in the US lives in them.  Unfortunately, not all of these achievements have been good for the environment.  Loss of habitat has become the biggest threat to the environment.  Fortunately, we are understanding how we can make changes for the better.

In this camp, we’ll learn about some of the achievements the engineers and builders of the past constructed things - from small bridges to the Great Pyramids of Egypt.  We’ll then go further and think about ways to design structures that are good for people but also good for the planet!

For students entering K-2nd grade
