Holi, an ancient Hindu festival also known as the Festival of Colors, Festival of Spring, and the Festival of Love. This celebrates the eternal love for Radha Krishna and the festival last for a day and a night. The holiday is held at the end of winter on the last full moon day of the Hindu Luni-solar calendar and falls on March 8th, 2022. Traditionally, the colorful powders thrown during Holi were made of natural ingredients, such as turmeric for yellow, beets for purple, and pomegranate and dried hibiscus flowers for red.
