A journeyto Alaska, Iceland, Chile and Peru to document glaciological research expeditions and sustainability. The Cresta Alta Film Tour is engaging audiences throughout the US with arts councils, colleges, high schools and museums at events produced by The Risan Project. The 2025 tour features Risan Media'sexpedition-based climate change documentary film titled, Cresta Alta, that chronicles a journey to Alaska, Iceland, Chile and Peru to document glaciological research expeditions and sustainability. The screenings are followed by a discussion/Q&A with producer and director, Todd Anders Johnson.

Todd Anders Johnson is a multi-media producer, performer, educator, and snowboard mountaineer. Through Risan Brands, he blends his passions for the environment, arts, cannabis, and outdoor recreation. Risan Media produces cinematic content, including projects for Snoop Dogg’s MERRY JANE and Leafly, and documents sustainability and climate change through glaciological expeditions. His band, Salem, performs socially-conscious music at snow sports events. Risan Project creates multi-media events for the outdoor, environmental, and cannabis sectors. Boureas, his jazz group, performs at arts events and conventions. Todd also leads Risan Studies educational programs and consults for cannabis brands. He now lives in Colorado’s mountains with his family.
